for the record…this is a first for this blog! a post dedicated to a reception…a party…or shall i say THE party! the evening started with a prayer and the moved right to the toasts. the Maid of honor, the Brides sister, would set the tone for the evening with her RULE for the party. a tradition actually…she explained that there would be no clanking of forks or knives against champagne glasses in hopes of seeing the couple repeatedly have to kiss. a very well known activity in almost every single wedding i have been too. not this one! she explained that during dinner, the D.J. would be randomly announcing table numbers. 2 people from each table would then make their way to the dance floor, and show the newlyweds how to kiss in STYLE! oh my goodness! so many sassy, sweet and sexy besos! next, the new Mr&Mrs would take their turn on the dance floor to mimic the preceding lip lock! and this was just the beginning of the fun that continued late into the evening!! the most outrageous & fun YMCA EVER…a Bride that NEVER left the dance floor…and a serious bouquet and garter toss! yes! we had a B L A S T at this party!! enough chatter!! this is a *small* glimpse into what went on at Mandy & Allens party!
